Providence Health and Services has been serving Alaskans since 1902. Throughout their tenure, Providence has successfully provided quality and innovative healthcare for Alaskans in Anchorage, Matanuska-Susitna Valley, Kodiak Island, Seward, Soldotna, Valdez, and surrounding areas.
Providence Cancer Center was awarded designation as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program from the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
Providence’s network of hospitals in Alaska and throughout the Pacific Northwest offers a partnership with physicians, health care providers, and innovative treatments.
Mesothelioma Treatments
Providence Alaska Medical Center has ACR-ASTRO accreditation for performing radiation oncology, a service designed to both treat and/or alleviate a cancer patient’s pain. Specialized, patient-centered care is provided through services including genetic counseling, oncology focused physical rehabilitation, and access to a variety of clinical trials, many of which are sponsored by the National Cancer Institute.
We connect mesothelioma patients with the health care providers through a nationwide database of doctors and hospitals that treat malignant cancers such as mesothelioma.
