Florida Cancer Center
Background
The Florida Cancer Center is located in Palm Beach County, Florida. Established over 25 years ago by Dr. Victor S. Koo, the center is a product of his tireless dedication to better serve his patients. Dr. Koo is board certified in internal medicine with a specialization in hematology and oncology.
Prior to establishing the Florida Cancer Center, Dr. Koo authored multiple research publications while an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology of the University of Louisville Medical School. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Internal Medicine, and the American Society of Hematology.
The Florida Cancer Center serves at four locations: its main office in Boynton Beach (across from Bethesda Memorial Hospital), Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Delray Medical Center, and John F. Kennedy Medical Center.
Cancer Treatments
Medical oncology and chemotherapy, palliative care, state of the art diagnostics and imaging services, hormone therapy and biological therapy are all options for cancer treatment at the Florida Cancer Center.
