Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Regional Cancer Center
Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare is a non-profit organization that manages Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Regional Cancer Center. Historically, Faxton Hospital and St. Luke’s-Memorial Hospital operated independently until they merged in 2000 to become Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare. The Faxton Hospital and St. Luke’s Campus Acute Care currently house 370 inpatient beds, with an extensive network of facilities that include the Regional Cancer Center.
Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare’s commitment to community healthcare has been established throughout its history together and as independent institutions in the Mohawk Valley. Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Regional Cancer Center is an accredited program certified by the Commission on Cancer Care of the American College of Surgeons.
Mesothelioma Treatments
Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Regional Cancer Center uses a variety of cancer services and innovative therapies to treat each patient. Access to radiation oncology, chemotherapy, and surgical oncology are provided, as well as individualized care programs.
Through the patient-centered cancer care approach, Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Regional Cancer Center physicians aim to maximize comfort, rehabilitation, and specialized treatments. Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare Regional Cancer Center has ACR-ASTRO accreditation for performing radiation oncology, a service designed to both treat and/or alleviate a cancer patient’s pain.
