Dr. Norotsky is a cardiothoracic surgeon with expertise in several areas including congenital heart disease, lung cancer, and thoracic trauma. He performs pulmonary, mediastinal and esophageal surgery and surgery for atrial arrhythmias with Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington, VT.
Dr. Norotsky is board certified in thoracic surgery. He is an associate professor at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, which is also his alma mater and where he has taught since 1997. He is currently the Interim Chair for the Department of Surgery.
Dr. Norotsky completed a surgical residency at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont, and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
“I take care of very critically ill patients,” Dr. Norotsky says. “I find it very gratifying not only to help them live longer, but when they return to the office, to see the improvement in their quality of life,” according to the University of Vermont.
