Central DuPage Hospital Cancer Center
Background
Central DuPage Hospital was established in 1964 as a comprehensive medical center to treat residents of Winfield, Illinois. Central DuPage Hospital operates a 313-bed hospital and employs over 900 physicians in various specialties. Central DuPage has continually expanded over the years to accommodate the needs of its community.
A comprehensive cancer center was built in nearby Warrenville, IL, to better accommodate patients’ needs. At this facility the majority of clinics that take place are outpatient procedures such as check-ups, basic laboratory procedures, infusions and chemotherapy, wellness sessions, nutritional counseling, support groups, imaging and diagnostics, and radiation services. All in-patient procedures take place at Central DuPage Hospital.
