Dr. Haffty is Associate Director of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, as well as a Professor of Oncology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His clinical research focuses on genetic markers in breast cancers and their roles in cancer management.
Dr. Haffty received his medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, and completed a residency in radiation oncology at the Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is board certified in general radiation oncology.
Dr. Haffty serves as a trustee and Assistant Executive Director of the American Board of Radiology, and has authored or co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters about cancer treatment.
